Buying something

Three steps. No account. No app.

  1. Tap the link or scan the QR

If the seller shared a link (Craigslist, Nextdoor, iMessage), tap it. If they baked a QR into their FB Marketplace listing photo, point your phone camera at it. Either way you land on the item page.

  2. Pay by card, or reserve

Hit 'Buy now' to pay by card — Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card. Takes ten seconds. You get an SMS with the pickup address the moment your card clears. Prefer to pay in person? Tap 'Reserve' instead — verify your phone by SMS, confirm the hold, bring cash / Venmo / PayPal at pickup.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. The seller never sees your card number. Available! never sees it either — Stripe does the whole thing.

  3. Show up and get the thing

Head to the address by the hold deadline. If you already paid, you just pick up. If not, hand the seller cash or send them Venmo/PayPal on the spot. Repeat no-shows get your phone number blocked from reserving.

Selling something

Set up in five minutes. Accept cards forever.

  1. Sign up + connect Stripe

Sign up with your phone (~30 sec). Connect Stripe (~5 min: name, address, bank routing, last 4 of SSN). Stripe handles all the identity checks, tax forms, and payouts to your bank.

  2. Post an item

Snap a photo. AI drafts the title, description, and price. Edit and publish. Get a shareable link and a downloadable QR image.

  3. Share it where buyers already are

Craigslist ad, Nextdoor post, group text, iMessage — drop the link. For Facebook Marketplace, download the composite image (product photo + QR baked in) and upload it as one of your listing photos. FBM strips outbound links, but not pixels.

When FBM buyers DM 'is this available??', paste your yesavailable.link back at them. They tap, pay, and show up. One reply closes the deal — no back-and-forth about Venmo, price haggling, or holding it 'til Saturday.

Money bits

Free to sign up. Free to list. Card payments flow directly from buyer → your bank via Stripe. Available! takes a 5% platform fee from your side and adds a $1 service fee to the buyer at checkout — buyer sees a clean breakdown before they pay. Stripe’s own processing fees also apply (~2.9% + $0.30 on the total). No fees on cash / Venmo / PayPal — the app isn’t involved in those.
