Fair question. Available!™ is a small tool sellers use alongside Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Nextdoor so you can commit to an item without the usual back-and-forth.
What you’re doing here: either paying by card up front (Buy Now) so the item is yours right away, or reserving a pickup window (free) so the seller holds it for you. Both work. Buy Now is faster and locks it in; reserving lets you inspect first and pay in person.
What happens to your card: if you pay by card, the payment runs through Stripe (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card). Neither the seller nor Available!™ ever sees your card number. Same processor Amazon, Lyft, and most of the e-commerce web uses.
What if the seller doesn’t show up or the item isn’t what you expected? Full refund. Card payments are refundable through Stripe in a couple of taps. If you reserved without paying, no money changed hands.
Red flags to watch for anywhere online: a seller asking you to pay outside Available!™ (Zelle, wire transfer, gift cards), asking for “deposits” without a link like this one, or refusing to give a public neighborhood location. If anything feels off, walk.
